Description
The City of Riverside is soliciting bids for complete restoration of the roofing systems at 980 and 1006 Dalton Road. The work includes repairing blisters, mole-run conditions, loose cap sheets, deteriorated membranes, parapet walls, roof penetrations, flashings, drains, and other defective areas; cleaning and pressure-washing the roof surfaces; correcting ponding areas with elevating compound; and applying primer, fluid-applied base and top coatings, polyester reinforcement, liquid flashing, and mineral granules. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, cleanup, traffic and site protection, and related installation services. The project requires a California C-39 roofing contractor license, at least five years of similar licensed experience, and certification as a pre-approved Garland contractor. The specified system is based on Garland Cool-Sil products, with substitutions subject to approval. The contractor must provide a five-year workmanship warranty and support the manufacturer's 15-year warranty. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required after award; a bid bond equal to 10% of the bid is required with submission. The project must be completed by May 1, 2027, and includes a $150,000 allowance for specialized installations or additional disposal subject to written authorization.
