Description
The City of Ontario is soliciting a contractor for roof replacement at the Chaffey Community Museum of Art and adjacent buildings. Work includes asbestos- and lead-related abatement identified in the Converse Consultants report, demolition and removal of existing roofing, replacement of asphalt shingle systems, installation of a Tremco KEE adhered single-ply roofing system on the old jail building, sheet-metal flashing and trim, disposal of demolition and hazardous materials, and related protection, coordination, and cleanup. This is a California prevailing-wage public works project requiring a C-39 contractor's license and Department of Industrial Relations registration. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, submit the required completed bid forms and bid security, provide applicable CARB compliance documentation, and submit the bid electronically through PlanetBids. The estimated bid value is $500,000, and the performance period is 60 calendar days from the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.
