Description
The Arizona Department of Administration, Risk Management Division, on behalf of the State of Arizona and the Industrial Commission of Arizona Special Fund Division, is soliciting proposals for one or more mandatory statewide contracts covering workers' compensation cost-containment and pharmacy benefit management services. The scope includes 24/7 nurse triage, utilization review, medical bill review, preferred provider networks, pharmacy claims adjudication, retail and mail-order pharmacy services, eligibility and rebate management, reporting, analytics, implementation, and transition support. Nurse triage applies only to the State of Arizona, while the other services also support the Special Fund Division. The contracts will be used on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed spending, and the State may award the full scope or separate segments to one or multiple contractors. Contractors must support the State's risk-management systems, HIPAA and information-security requirements, statewide provider access, data exchange, reporting, and required GovRAMP security milestones. The contract term is 12 months, with discretionary extensions in one- or more-month increments up to a maximum aggregate term of five years.
