Description
Frederick County, Maryland is soliciting a contractor to administer claims for its self-insured workers’ compensation program and liability-related coverage. The scope includes workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, auto liability, auto physical damage, general and public-entity liability, professional liability, and property damage claims across all states, with primary activity in Maryland and surrounding areas. Required capabilities include online and email claim reporting, claim intake and investigation, medical and telephonic case management, bill review, reserve and settlement administration, legal management, subrogation, special investigations, Medicare reporting, OSHA support, electronic claim files, risk-management-system integration, reporting, quality control, dedicated staffing, and account stewardship. The contract is for one year beginning on or about July 1, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must include separate technical and price submissions, detailed work and qualifications proposals, a transition schedule, recent references, required certifications and affidavits, insurance information, a line-by-line specifications response, and any applicable exceptions.
