Description
The City of Sedona is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional design consultants to design two new recharge wells, designated Recharge Wells No. 4 and No. 5, at the Wastewater Reclamation Plant. The scope includes review of existing reports, facility operations, and as-built information; design of well drilling and equipment; expansion of the recharge well pump station; dedicated supply piping; automatic backwash; water-quality and chlorine-residual evaluations; SCADA; electrical upgrades; permitting with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Arizona Department of Water Resources; potential monitoring wells; and abandonment or demolition of Area 4 irrigation lines. The selected consultant will also provide plans and specifications, hydrogeological well-drilling oversight and reporting, recommendations regarding construction procurement, support for construction-services solicitation and award, and construction-phase support. The qualifications submission must address relevant experience, a proposed project team, and a project-specific understanding and methodology. Pricing is not requested with the qualifications submission; it may be requested during negotiations.
