Description
The Town of Camp Verde is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for construction improvements at the Park Verde Road crossing of the Verde Irrigation Ditch. The work includes removing and replacing a portion of the roadway, installing one 6-foot-wide by 3-foot-tall by 38-foot-long precast concrete box culvert, installing a steel utility casing, performing excavation, engineered fill, aggregate base, asphalt paving, roadway shoulders, traffic control, striping, safety rail, chain-link fencing, landscape walls, riprap, traffic delineators, and related irrigation-ditch restoration work. The bidder must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, insurance, bonds, testing, and related services. The bid schedule includes a 25% owner allowance. The project requires a 10% bid bond with the bid; the successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance before issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The agreement provides 30 calendar days to substantial completion and 45 calendar days to final completion after the Notice to Proceed, with work in the ditch coordinated with its seasonal shutdown.
