Description
The City of Phoenix is seeking qualified vendors to provide as-needed animal daycare, overnight boarding, and quarantine services for canines and cats. Required capabilities include 24/7 on-site supervision, no-touch kennels, trained animal-care staff, medication administration, restroom breaks, leash walks, individual and supervised group play, feeding, bedding, litter-box cleaning, incident reporting, and daily care documentation. Facilities must provide appropriate ventilation, heating, cooling, sanitation, security, pest control, and a written canine-escape plan, and must permit City site visits at least twice annually. Offerors must have at least three years of relevant experience, facilities in the Phoenix metropolitan area, a current Maricopa County Kennel Permit, and commercially zoned facilities approved for animal boarding. Responses must address contractor requirements, method of approach, and qualifications and experience, with pricing for boarding and optional services including baths, pool time, nail trims, treats, and extended stays. The agreement term is five years with no extension options.
