Description

The Federal Highway Administration, Central Federal Lands Highway Division, is soliciting sealed bids from small businesses for the Burro Creek Road resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation project in Mohave County, Arizona. The approximately 1.3-mile project includes roadway resurfacing using full-depth reclamation and asphalt concrete pavement, drainage improvements, ditch grading and reconditioning, culvert replacements and installation, minor bridge-approach repairs, embankment and slope stabilization, erosion-control measures, signs, pavement markings, and temporary traffic control. The base Schedule A includes the primary roadway rehabilitation; Option X includes additional bridge sedimentation and approach repairs, boulder placement, and related work. The estimated project value is between $2 million and $5 million. The solicitation requires a sealed paper bid package; electronic bids are not accepted. The package includes the SF-1442, bid schedules, applicable authority-to-bind certification, Buy American Act and hazardous-materials information, bid guarantee, VETS-4212 declaration, and bidder information. The bid guarantee is 20 percent of the bid price or $3 million, whichever is less, and must be an original bid bond or other permitted guarantee. Performance and payment bonds are required after award. The base work must be completed by May 26, 2027, and Option X, if awarded, by June 22, 2027.
