Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is conducting a Request for Information to gather vendor input before deciding whether to issue a future invitation for bids or request for proposals for workers' compensation third-party administrator services. The City has approximately 3,100 full-time equivalent employees and is seeking information about potential costs and service models. Responses are limited to 30 pages and must address invoicing and implementation costs; account staffing and dedicated adjusters; included and unbundled services; in-house versus outsourced functions; triage and telemedicine; data transfer, storage, retention, software, and destruction fees; complex-claim and fraud-detection technology; performance guarantees; clinical and medical-director staffing; preferred provider organization networks and bill-review savings; and return-to-work strategies. This is an information-gathering exercise and does not constitute a procurement or commitment to purchase.
