Description
The Town of Prescott Valley is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms to prepare a Design Concept Report for the Florentine Road Improvement Project, covering the corridor from just east of N. Windsong Drive to N. Navajo Drive. The selected consultant will assess existing conditions and constraints; evaluate roadway widening, drainage, recharge, green infrastructure, multimodal, traffic, utility, environmental, right-of-way, and access-management considerations; develop and compare conceptual alternatives; and recommend a preferred concept. Required deliverables include existing-conditions and right-of-way evaluations, conceptual roadway and drainage layouts, utility conflict and traffic evaluations, planning-level construction cost estimates, construction phasing and maintenance-of-traffic exhibits, a risk assessment, public involvement planning, an implementation strategy, and draft and final Design Concept Reports with 15% design plans. The anticipated completion period is approximately six to nine months from notice to proceed. Final design and construction-support services are anticipated to be negotiated separately after the concept-report phase.
