Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contract for semiannual cleaning, inspection, and servicing of seven kitchen exhaust hoods across three buildings at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System: Building 16 Canteen, Building 151 Dom, and Building 108 Main Kitchen. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, chemicals, and other supplies; perform the work after standard operating hours; provide before-and-after photographs; and submit condition reports identifying corrective actions. The contract is structured as a base period plus four option years, with service scheduled annually in February and August. The contractor must have at least five years of experience conducting TAB analysis and corrections and comply with applicable VA standards, NFPA 96, local fire codes, OSHA requirements, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Offers will be evaluated primarily on price, responsibility, registration confirmation, specialized experience demonstrated through at least two contract-number references, and satisfactory past performance. The procurement is set aside for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and the offeror must submit the required limitations-on-subcontracting certification.
