Central Pines Regional Council is soliciting proposals from properly licensed North Carolina subcontractors for individual trade services supporting the Weatherization Assistance Program. Separate solicitations cover plumbing, HVAC, shell weatherization, energy auditing, quality control inspection, and electrical work for eligible homes across Region 3 counties. Services include energy audits, HVAC evaluation and replacement, air sealing and insulation, plumbing repairs, electrical upgrades, and final quality-control inspections. Responders must provide the applicable subcontractor information, business license, trade certifications and training, sample company invoice, references, and insurance documentation. The contracts are generally structured as one-year agreements beginning July 1, 2026, with annual extensions available based on performance; the documents state that work must be completed by June 30, 2027. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, capacity, licenses and certifications, ability to meet project needs, and pricing.
