Description
The City of Raleigh is soliciting proposals from one or more firms to provide maintenance, annual inspections, testing, cleaning, emergency response, and repairs for boilers listed in Appendix V at City facilities. The scope includes control, fuel-train, burner, flame-safeguard, fuel-leak, combustion, heat-exchanger, stack-sensor, and related equipment testing; diagnostic and maintenance reports; service tickets; repair recommendations; and re-inspection after repairs. Contractors must provide labor, equipment, transportation, materials, service manuals, software, diagnostic equipment, permits, and manufacturer-authorized technicians as required. The contractor must maintain an active North Carolina Mechanical H-1 License, comply with applicable boiler, pressure-vessel, safety, and licensing requirements, provide manufacturer authorization or certification documentation for applicable equipment, and have at least five consecutive years of relevant experience. Emergency service requires a four-hour response, seven days per week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Proposals must include the requested technical and corporate information, financial information, project approach and schedule, personnel qualifications, references, sample boiler diagnostic report, and pricing for five years of inspections and testing, normal and after-hours repairs, and rental units.
