Description
Johnston County Schools is soliciting bids for Category 1 standalone data transmission services supporting 53 schools and district facilities. The requirement includes premium Metro Ethernet service and upgrades, with service capacities generally ranging from 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps, two head-end circuits requiring 20 Gbps each, and associated installation and initial configuration. The solicitation identifies 54 service requests in the 10–25 Gbps range and two additional head-end requests in the 10–50 Gbps range. The service needs include recurring eligible and ineligible monthly charges as well as eligible and ineligible nonrecurring charges. Board approval may be required before contract signature.
