Description
The City of Raleigh is seeking one or more qualified vendors to provide professional interpreter services supporting recreation programs, events, activities, meetings, training sessions, and other City-sponsored services. The scope includes American Sign Language, Certified Deaf Interpreting, and other appropriate spoken-language or communication services for participants who are Deaf, hard of hearing, or otherwise require language assistance. The awarded vendor must provide credentialed interpreters in good standing, maintain required background checks and qualifications, provide an interpreter coordinator for scheduling and assignments, accommodate planned and short-notice requests when available, arrange backup interpreters when needed, and provide required liability insurance documentation. The solicitation requests a multi-year contract with an initial two-year term and fixed rates, subject to any proposed annual adjustments. Proposals must include organizational experience, financial information, approach and schedule, proposed personnel and certifications, references, and pricing.
