Description
The City of Raleigh is soliciting competitive applications for its Community Enhancement Grant (CEG) Program for fiscal year 2027-2028. The program will fund eligible CDBG public-service activities benefiting low- and moderate-income Raleigh residents, including housing stability and homelessness prevention, supportive services, economic stability and workforce development, access to essential services, and programs serving vulnerable populations. Proposed activities must satisfy applicable CDBG eligibility requirements and at least one HUD National Objective, primarily benefit eligible residents, and document participant eligibility, outcomes, expenditures, and program performance. Approximately $200,000 is available, with individual requests limited to $20,000-$50,000. Applicants must submit a complete application and supporting organizational, financial, eligibility, budget, and compliance documentation, including the MWBE Participation Form. Applications requesting more than $25,000 must include audited financial statements. The resulting contract will have a one-year term effective upon the City's signature, with funding provided on a reimbursement basis. Applicants must attend one mandatory virtual information session and use the City's Neighborly Participant Portal for submission.
