Description
The California Department of Justice, Bureau of Forensic Services, is soliciting bids for statewide biohazardous and regulated waste removal and incineration services. The contractor will pack, load, transport, store, treat, and dispose of waste by incineration for 12 forensic laboratories, using 44-gallon containers and pickup frequencies that vary by laboratory. The contractor must maintain the waste chain of control from pickup through incineration, provide all required labor, transportation, permits, supplies, and related fees, and perform services in accordance with applicable Cal/OSHA requirements. The agreement is expected to run for three years, beginning November 15, 2026, or upon approval, through November 14, 2029. Bids will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest bid. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, certifications, client references, applicable licenses and permits, insurance documentation, and other required attachments. A mandatory 3% DVBE subcontracting participation requirement applies.
