Description
The U.S. Geological Survey requires non-personal hazardous waste collection and disposal services for its National Wildlife Health Center Honolulu Field Station and Halawa Necropsy Facility. The contractor must characterize, package, label, document, collect, transport, manifest, and dispose of laboratory and chemical waste at an EPA-approved facility accepted by the Government. The specifications identify liquid wastes including DNA waste, acids, fixatives, EDTA, formaldehyde, methanol, and other laboratory chemicals in specified containers and quantities. The contractor must provide containers and packaging materials, required licenses and permits, trained and certified personnel, manifests, waste-characterization records, disposal tickets, and documented proof of proper disposal. The anticipated award is firm fixed price for a one-year period from September 24, 2026, through September 23, 2027, with award to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
