Description
Fresno Unified School District is soliciting proposals for Category 2 network equipment and related services under RFP 27-08. The scope includes network switches and necessary software and licenses, Cisco or equivalent equipment, antennas, connectors and related components, cabling, VoIP phones, and existing-equipment managed internal broadband services. The bill of materials identifies Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco networking subscriptions and licenses, support, stacking cables, Cisco desk phones, and related network components; quantities are estimates and proposed solutions may require different quantities. The solicitation also includes basic maintenance of internal connections for switches, antennas, connectors, related components, and cabling. Proposals must be submitted through the district's Procureware portal, and attendance at the virtual pre-proposal conference is mandatory for a responsive proposal. The district may consider multi-year contracts and specified voluntary extensions, but automatic or evergreen extensions are not permitted.
