Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive claims administration services for its self-insured workers' compensation program. The selected contractor will be responsible for managing all aspects of claims, including adjusting, investigation, medical bill review, litigation support, and compliance with California regulations. The program includes both a statutory program and an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program for police officers. The contractor must provide a dedicated claims unit with state-certified adjusters, maintain caseloads within specified limits, and meet strict performance standards. The contract is expected to commence July 1, 2027, for a three-year base period with four one-year options.
