Description
The California Department of Veterans Affairs is requesting quotes for labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and related services to remove existing Aruba access points and install replacement devices provided by CalVet at the Veterans Home of California–Fresno. The scope includes removal and installation of 162 indoor access points and 14 outdoor access points, including external antennas for the outdoor units. The contractor must install the devices in the existing locations, provide brackets and any needed RJ45 jacks or longer patch cords, connect and verify network Power over Ethernet functionality, properly ground outdoor units, label devices, mark floor or site plans with serial numbers and MAC addresses, and clean the work areas. The contractor must provide parts and labor, maintain applicable licenses, comply with site access and electronic-waste procedures, and perform the work during normal business hours unless otherwise agreed. The award will be based on the lowest responsive cost after mandatory administrative requirements are met.
