Description
The County of Fresno is seeking qualified vendors to provide water and wastewater treatment chemicals on an as-needed basis to multiple locations throughout the county. The quotation schedule includes products such as citric acid, oxalic acid, sodium hypochlorite, soda ash, calcium carbonate, sodium thiosulfate, and other specified treatment chemicals, with alternate products permitted when supported by descriptive literature. All chemicals must be certified for contact with or treatment of drinking water by an accredited organization under ANSI/NSF Standard 60. Deliveries must include a lift gate and pallet jack, occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and provide one to two hours' advance notice. Suppliers of bulk chlorine must be able to pump the chemical into the County's existing storage tanks. The County intends to establish a multi-vendor agreement with up to three responsive, responsible bidders for an initial three-year term with two potential one-year renewals. The response must include completed pricing, required certifications and forms, a reference list of at least five similar customers, product literature, and the required bid package in PDF format; the quotation schedule may be submitted in PDF or Excel format.
