Description
The City seeks a qualified nonprofit organization to plan, coordinate, and facilitate its 2027 annual concert series. The series includes eight performances on the Historic Downtown Square and four large-scale concerts at Legion Field; all events must be free and open to the public. The selected organization will also assist with the annual Lighting of the Square event, with additional programming possible by mutual written agreement. Responsibilities include booking a diverse range of musical artists and coordinating event-day accommodations, arranging production companies for each show, and co-branding marketing materials with the City as an equal partner. The organization must raise sponsorships to match the City's $60,000 contribution. Proposals must include relevant experience, a proposed show schedule and lineup, an event logistics plan for both venues, and evidence of comprehensive general liability insurance with at least $1 million per occurrence. The partnership begins in 2027 and may continue for up to three years, subject to annual renewals.
