Description
The DeKalb County School District seeks qualified fencing contractors for a non-exclusive, task-order-based pool providing on-demand services throughout the district. Work may include installation, repair, relocation, and removal of permanent or temporary fencing and gates at schools, administrative buildings, athletic fields, secure perimeters, and construction sites. Multiple vendors may be selected, and there is no guaranteed work volume. Contractors must provide labor, materials, equipment, and related services; meet specified fencing standards; and provide standard site visits, quotes, installation, cleanup, and a minimum one-year labor and workmanship warranty. Emergency repairs must be available within 24 hours, and vendors must indicate after-hours availability. Bidders must submit unit pricing for fencing, gates, accessories, repairs, and labor. The solicitation also requires company financial information, business and professional licensing documentation, insurance documentation, client references, and multiple completed certifications and forms. The contract is expected to begin on or about January 2027, with an initial one-year term and up to four one-year extension options. The district may make multiple awards, and the contract has no guaranteed order volume.
