Description
The DeKalb County School District seeks qualified fencing contractors for a non-exclusive, task-order-based pool providing on-demand services throughout the district. Work may include installing, repairing, relocating, and removing permanent or temporary fencing and gates at schools, administrative buildings, athletic fields, secure perimeters, and construction sites. Multiple vendors may be selected, with assignments based on scope, response time, cost, and capacity; no minimum work volume is guaranteed. Contractors must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services. The scope includes site assessments, itemized quotes, standard installation, cleanup and disposal, and emergency repairs with a response time within 24 hours. Vendors must indicate after-hours and emergency availability. The solicitation requires pricing for specified fence types, gates, accessories, and labor rates, and requires a valid Georgia Plumbing Contractor license. The proposed initial term is one year, with up to four one-year extension options.
