Description
The City of Hollister is seeking qualified event producers, organizations, or event management firms to plan, organize, operate, and evaluate up to four marquee events, one of which must be the Hollister Biker Rally. The scope includes event programming, vendor coordination, sponsorship development, entertainment booking, family-oriented programming, operational logistics, financial coordination, traffic control, marketing, advertising, promotional support, volunteer recruitment and management, security, restroom and medical services, fire protection, cleanup coordination, permitting, safety planning, insurance, and risk management. Proposals must include a professionally produced drone light show for the Biker Rally, including the show concept, responsible vendor, insurance, airspace, and Federal Aviation Administration coordination. Proposers may submit either a no-City-funding model, under which the operator assumes event-related costs and generates revenue through sponsorships, vendor fees, ticketing, partnerships, and other sources, or a lump-sum event-management proposal. Required proposal content includes organizational background, comparable public-event experience, proposed event details and locations with maps, staffing, budget, revenue strategy, marketing, insurance information, references from at least three public agencies, financial contribution to the City, and local hiring and procurement commitments. The City will provide five police officers per event day, while other event-related expenses are generally the operator's responsibility.
