Description
Gwinnett County’s Department of Water Resources seeks a qualified service provider for annual inspections and testing, preventive maintenance, load testing, parts supply, and authorized repairs for approximately 121 cranes and hoists at wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities, and water production facilities. The work includes OSHA-compliant inspections and testing, service documentation, and maintenance and repair of equipment. The contractor must be able to respond to emergencies on-site within two hours and routine service requests within 24 hours, and must have facilities within two hours of the listed county facilities. Bidders must provide unit pricing for scheduled maintenance and load testing, labor rates for repairs, and a parts markup not exceeding 10%. The initial contract term is followed by four one-year renewal options. The bid package requires three similar-project references, a list of employees who would service the equipment, and specified bid forms and affidavits. Insurance evidence is required from the successful service provider; the certificate is due before work begins.
