Description
Gwinnett County’s Department of Water Resources is seeking qualified providers to furnish on-call bypass pumping equipment and services for maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and troubleshooting of water and wastewater infrastructure. Work may involve treatment facilities, pump stations, and gravity sewers, and will be authorized as needed; no minimum or maximum amount of work is guaranteed. The scope includes supplying, installing, testing, operating when required, maintaining, and removing temporary pumping systems, along with pumps, generators, piping, hoses, valves, accessories, sound barriers, and qualified personnel. The bid schedule includes standby and operational equipment rates, personnel rates, and transportation and materials pricing. The County may award to as many as three providers. The solicitation requires at least five years of relevant experience and specified staffing and equipment capacity. Subcontracting is restricted and requires prior written permission; the County expects providers to perform most work with in-house staff.
