Description
Gwinnett County seeks grounds maintenance services for Department of Water Resources facilities, with work divided among small-site and large-site sections that may be awarded separately. Services include scheduled mowing, trimming, edging, debris removal, and maintenance of retention ponds and steep slopes, as well as landscaping, seasonal flower installation, mulch and pine straw installation, weed control, chemical applications, and ornamental shrub and tree care. The bid schedule also includes optional or time-and-material work such as aeration, sod installation, additional mowing, and irrigation-related needs. Bidders must provide at least three references for similar work and submit copies of applicable Georgia pesticide licenses and training records with their bids. The service provider must hold a Georgia Certified Landscape Professional certification for landscaping and chemical application work. Core services must be self-performed; subcontracting requires prior approval and is not approved before award. The contract begins upon award and includes four additional one-year renewal options.
