Description
The Chicago Transit Authority seeks a qualified firm to provide event planning and management for public outreach, stakeholder, and emergency stakeholder meetings related to its Red Line Extension Project. The contractor will arrange accessible venues, coordinate meeting logistics and setup, manage signage, and coordinate third-party photography, videography, and translation services identified by the CTA. The scope includes meetings of varying sizes and notice periods, support for up to two simultaneous meetings, and event services during standard and non-standard hours. The contractor must provide weekly event logs, monthly progress reports, and regular coordination with the CTA. Proposers must submit a technical proposal, price proposal, bidders list, financial background materials, CTA certifications and disclosures, and conflict-of-interest mitigation information. The contract term is five years; the solicitation estimates a $50,000 event-management allowance for venue and furniture rentals over the contract term.
