Description
The project involves replacing approximately 8,600 linear feet of existing 6-inch asbestos-cement water main with new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron pipe, including associated appurtenances. Work also includes pavement repair, milling and overlay, erosion control, and restoration of disturbed areas to their pre-construction condition. Bidders must have completed the specified annual prequalification before the advertisement date; bids from contractors who are not prequalified will not be considered. The project is to be substantially complete within 270 days after contract times commence and complete within 300 days after the substantial-completion date.
