Description
Santa Clara Valley Water District is seeking a qualified biological and ecological consulting firm to provide on-call services for its Watershed Operations and Maintenance Division and Stream Maintenance Program. The scope includes biological surveys; protected-species and construction monitoring; habitat, wetland, jurisdictional, and land-cover assessments; botany, wetlands, fisheries, wildlife, restoration ecology, and natural-resources management support; regulatory compliance; GIS mapping; specialized technical analyses; and related management plans, memoranda, reports, spreadsheets, and field notes. Services will be authorized only through task orders on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum volume. The agreement is anticipated to have a five-year term and an estimated not-to-exceed amount of $500,000. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of directly relevant San Francisco Bay Area experience across at least five projects, and proposed personnel must have applicable regulatory knowledge, certifications, licenses, affiliations, and familiarity with Santa Clara County conditions. Proposals must include technical and cost submissions, with the cost proposal uploaded separately as a password-protected Microsoft Excel file; the technical response and required supporting files must be submitted electronically through the procurement portal.
