Description
The California Military Department is soliciting bids for comprehensive underground storage tank monitoring and testing services at Camp Roberts MATES, Long Beach CSMS, Barstow FMS 2, and Stockton AASF. The 14-month contract covers monthly designated-operator inspections, supplemental inspections, annual employee training, annual and triennial UST system testing, test and inspection reports, regulatory coordination, electronic and hard-copy deliverables, waste disposal, and minor maintenance. The contractor must also replace the monitoring system panel at Stockton AASF. The re-advertised IFB includes an updated scope of work. The contractor is responsible for off-site disposal of test-derived water and any waste fuels generated during maintenance. Testing must follow the schedule in the scope of work; initial draft reports are due within 10 days, with a five-day revision period if revisions are required. The prime contractor must possess a California Contractors State License Board HAZ—Hazardous Substance Removal Certification license, and on-site testing and inspections must be performed by appropriately qualified ICC-certified personnel.
