Description
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is establishing a prequalified contractor pool for asbestos abatement services over the specified period. Prequalified contractors may perform abatement work for the District and serve as asbestos abatement subcontractors on District projects, with most assignments expected to support general, mechanical, or electrical contractors. Typical projects range from $5,000 to $50,000, although some projects may exceed that range. Personnel entering designated confined spaces must have completed confined-spaces training and provide proof of training and personnel certificates at the time of entry. Contractors must comply with all applicable confined-space entry and work regulations and procedures. This opportunity is specifically for asbestos abatement and is not a demolition prequalification.
