Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction contract for removal and disposal of all regulated asbestos-containing material from three structures at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge: the Refuge Headquarters Office, QTRS#012 Residence, and Water Storage Tank House. Identified materials include vinyl floor tile, mastic, flooring adhesive, sheet vinyl, and cementitious panels. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, training, services, insurance, equipment, protective gear, power, water, packaging, transportation, and disposal at an approved site in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The work must be completed within 30 days after receiving the notice to proceed, with commencement required within 14 calendar days. The solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and will be evaluated on technical understanding and qualifications, relevant experience or past performance, and price. At least two recent similar asbestos-removal projects must be provided, and the completed SF 1442, price quote, Attachment 3 Bid Schedule, Attachment 4 Relevant Experience Questionnaire, technical submission, and applicable representations and certifications are required.
