Description
Kern High School District is soliciting bids for a district-wide annual, multi-project contract covering hazardous abatement work at various district sites. The bid form identifies anticipated line items for removal of resilient floor tile and mastic, built-up composition roofing, roofing penetration mastic, putty window glazing, ceramic tile containing lead, underground transite pipe, lead paint stabilization, and asbestos operation and maintenance services. The initial agreement is for one year, with mutual agreement allowing up to four additional one-year extensions. Work orders will define project-specific scope, pricing, forms, surety requirements, and special provisions. The contractor must hold the required C-22 contractor license, comply with prevailing-wage and applicable asbestos, lead, worker-safety, fingerprinting, and disabled-veteran-business-enterprise requirements, and provide required bid security, payment and performance bonds, insurance, certifications, qualifications information, subcontractor information, and other bid forms.
