Description
The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is soliciting a contractor to provide all materials, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, and related appurtenances needed to remove and dispose of hazardous materials on an as-needed basis. The scope includes asbestos, lead, mold, bird droppings, and other decontamination associated with disease. The contract is divided into two bid items, and bidders must submit pricing for both items. The District intends to issue one contract for a three-year period, with work ordered from January 2027 through December 31, 2029. The estimated maximum contract value is $275,000, although the full amount may not be expended. Bidders must submit the required MBE/WBE utilization materials, VBE Commitment Form, and related subcontractor documentation, as applicable.
