Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region 6, intends to award a Women-Owned Small Business sole-source blanket purchase agreement for asbestos abatement services at the Federal Regional Center and Vehicle Storage Administration Building 1 in Denton, Texas. The BPA is expected to support recurring, planned, urgent, and optional emergency requirements at occupied or partially occupied facilities, with work issued through authorized call orders. Required capabilities include site assessment and work planning; containment, critical barriers, negative-air filtration, HEPA vacuuming, decontamination, removal of asbestos-containing materials such as floor tile, mastic, transite panels, and insulation; waste packaging, labeling, manifesting, transportation, and disposal; regulatory notifications; final cleaning and clearance support; incident reporting; quality control; and closeout documentation. Respondents must address Texas licensing and regulatory credentials, qualified personnel and mobilization resources, health and safety procedures, FEMA access and security requirements, BPA/call-order performance, WOSB eligibility, and at least three relevant references completed or performed within the past five years. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration before FEMA makes a final award determination.
