Description
Reeves County is soliciting a licensed Texas asbestos abatement contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, containment, removal, cleanup, transportation, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials at the Reeves County Annex. The scope covers approximately 9,150 square feet of plaster ceiling, floor tile and black mastic, boiler, pipe, and duct insulation, Transite wall panels, exterior window caulk, and window glazing at 700 W. Daggett St., Pecos, Texas. The contractor must employ appropriately licensed and trained asbestos personnel; prepare regulated areas and containments; maintain negative air and decontamination systems; perform removal, fine cleaning, visual inspection, and final air clearance; and transport waste to an approved asbestos landfill using required licensed transport and disposal procedures. Work must comply with applicable federal, Texas, and local requirements, including OSHA, EPA, Texas Department of State Health Services, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations. The proposal must include pricing, working days, experience and qualifications, a management and safety plan, and past-performance references, along with the required county forms and certifications.
