Description
The United States Air Force is conducting market research for transfusion services supporting the 88th Medical Group. The requirement includes red blood cells, platelets, plasma, cryoprecipitate, specialty blood components, and reference laboratory transfusion testing for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care. The supplier must provide 24/7 availability, rapid shipment, STAT fulfillment within one hour, specialty component capability, abnormal-result notifications, and required look-back notifications. The supplier must be FDA licensed and comply with applicable Association for the Advancement of Blood Biotherapies standards. Blood products must be packaged and transported in validated temperature-controlled containers, with handling and storage instructions provided. Respondents must submit a concise capabilities package of no more than five pages addressing company information, ownership and socioeconomic status, capabilities, staffing, similar past experience, commercial sales history, pricing and commerciality, subcontracting or teaming, and technical compliance.
