Description
The Defense Health Agency intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis for Low Titer O Whole Blood to support patients at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. The provider must supply up to 120 units per year that are constituted, reconstituted, and validated for use and storage in the medical center’s refrigerators, while complying with applicable local, state, and federal blood-product laws, regulations, and guidelines. The requirement includes on-demand availability 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including federal holidays, with STAT delivery within 3.5 hours of receiving a request. This is a notice of intent rather than a competitive solicitation; interested sources must submit a capability statement containing technical data and pricing information, limited to three 8.5-by-11-inch pages in at least 10-point font.
