Description
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner is seeking qualified City Certified Minority- and Woman-Owned Business contractors to supply essential mortuary supplies on an as-needed basis. Required items include laminated polypropylene shrouds with face slits; adult environmental-friendly and heavy-duty disaster pouches; jumbo disaster pouches; infant body bags; post-mortem linen suture thread; and non-sterile, double-curved cutting post-mortem needles in sizes 0 and 4. Supplies will be shipped upon the agency's written request, with delivery required within 30 days after receipt of each request. Shipping must be included in the unit prices. The anticipated contract period is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, and the estimated total contract amount will not exceed $1,500,000, inclusive of change orders, overruns, amendments, renewals, and extensions. Proposals must be submitted through the PASSPort system by acknowledging the RFx and completing the response in the Manage Responses tab.
