Description
The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center's Department of Transfusion Medicine/Transfusion Services Laboratory requires two Helmer iBF120-GX, 20-cubic-foot blood bank plasma storage freezers—one with metal drawers and one with shelves—and one Helmer iBR113-GX, 13-cubic-foot blood bank refrigerator. The equipment will support safe storage of blood products and must provide continuous electronic temperature monitoring, temperature-excursion alarms, door-open alarms, suitable laboratory footprints, and frost-free operation. The requirement includes delivery, setup, and service plans, with compliance with applicable technical, regulatory, and licensing requirements. The Government anticipates a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Helmer, Inc. This is a presolicitation notice and notice of intent, not a request for competitive quotations; responsible sources may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation demonstrating their ability to meet the requirements.
