Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for on-call routine and non-routine septic tank pumping and legal disposal services. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, permits, transportation, dump fees, and incidentals, including a fully maintained vacuum pump truck capable of removing solid and liquid waste. Services include filter rinsing, legal disposal, disposal receipts, cleanup, service documentation, and response to routine and emergency overflow requests. Routine services must generally be performed Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with responses within 72 hours. Non-routine services require availability 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and a two-hour response to the work site. The agreement is estimated to run from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029. Subcontracting is not permitted. Bidders must hold a current California Motor Carrier Permit and Department of Industrial Relations registration, and must comply with prevailing-wage, waste-disposal, and applicable regulatory requirements. Estimated bid quantities are 720,000 gallons of routine services and 360,000 gallons of non-routine services, priced per gallon.
