Description
The Indian Health Service is conducting a sources-sought market research notice for installation of a replacement individual septic system for an existing home on fee land. The anticipated construction scope includes 4-inch solid sewer pipe, an underground two-way cleanout, a 1,500-gallon two-compartment concrete septic tank with filter, a 1,050-gallon concrete dosing tank with dosing effluent pump, pump vault and controls, auto-flush headworks, effluent supply and return lines, and a subsurface drip-system drainfield with manifold and vacuum relief valve. The contractor must also pump and dispose of the existing septic tank offsite. The contractor would be responsible for site investigation, utility locating, electrical work by a Washington-licensed electrician, county permits and fees, and vegetative clearing. The anticipated project magnitude is $25,000 to $100,000. This is a sources-sought notice rather than a solicitation for proposals; respondents must provide company information, bonding capacity, business classifications, relevant project experience, references, and answers concerning quality control, construction management, and self-performance. Native American/Indian-owned businesses responding under the Buy Indian Act must also submit the IHS Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form and applicable Bureau of Indian Affairs documentation, with personally identifiable information redacted.
