Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting proposals for an as-needed requirements contract covering installation, removal, repair, and rental of fencing and gates. The scope includes chain-link and wrought-iron fencing, gates and hardware, temporary chain-link fencing, emergency and non-standard repairs, mobilization, miscellaneous materials and supplies, debris removal, and related labor, equipment, and materials. Work may occur at various City locations and must comply with City, Caltrans, ASTM, accessibility, safety, and prevailing-wage requirements. The initial contract term is one year from the Notice to Proceed, with up to nine additional one-year extensions by mutual written consent. Proposers must hold a valid California Class C13 fencing contractor's license and may not subcontract any work. The proposal must include the City's required forms and supporting information, including pricing, qualifications, references, license and registration proofs, conflict-of-interest and non-collusion declarations, insurance acceptance, addenda acknowledgment, and signatures. Emergency repair crews must begin work within 24 hours, while ordinary work generally begins within five business days after written quote acceptance.
