Description
Union County, through Union County Water, is seeking proposals from experienced firms to provide temporary by-pass pump rentals and related services on an as-needed basis. The resulting contract may be awarded to one or more vendors and will support emergency and scheduled wastewater pumping needs at lift stations and other facilities throughout the utility service area. The contractor must supply properly sized, fully operational, self-priming temporary pumps and related piping, hoses, fittings, controls, and noise-control equipment, along with delivery, setup, startup, testing, preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency replacement, operation support, breakdown, and removal. Emergency service requires 24-hour, seven-day availability and delivery of required equipment within three hours of the County's request. Proposals must include company experience, staffing and equipment resources, a service methodology, at least three similar customer references from the previous five years, pricing, and the required submission forms.
