Description
The City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is soliciting a universal term contract for portable restroom rental and maintenance services across Recreation and Parks facilities, golf courses, special events, festivals, short-term projects, and potentially other City departments. The scope includes standard, handicap-accessible, ADA-compliant, multi-stall, and flushable portable toilets; portable hand-washing stations; grey-water holding tanks; delivery, installation, anchoring, relocation, pickup, cleaning, sanitizing, pumping, replenishment of paper products, repairs, graffiti removal, and lawful disposal of sewage and waste. The City estimates approximately $380,000 in annual spending, but does not guarantee any minimum purchase. It anticipates at least 185 units across approximately 65 Recreation and Parks locations, 14 units across six golf courses, and additional units for special events and short-term projects. Bidders may pursue the full scope or individual categories, and the City may make multiple awards. The proposed contract runs from execution through December 31, 2030, with a possible one-year extension by mutual agreement. Bidders must provide pricing, a five-year experience and work-history outline, at least four similar customer references, required licenses, equipment and service capabilities, and applicable product literature and specifications.
