Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting bids for modification of left-turn phasing in all four directions at the intersection of N. Millbrook Avenue and E. Alluvial Avenue. The work includes new traffic signal poles, controller and signal equipment, detector loops, street lighting, pedestrian countdown heads, accessible pedestrian signal infrastructure, high-visibility crosswalks, advanced stop bars, conflict markings, ADA-compliant curb ramps, concrete sidewalk and curb-and-gutter improvements, signing and thermoplastic striping, hot-mix asphalt, traffic control, and related site work. The project has a stated construction allocation of $711,340 and an 80-working-day completion period beginning on the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must hold a valid California Class A or C-10 contractor's license and submit a 10% bid deposit. The successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds, comply with prevailing-wage and public-works requirements, maintain specified insurance, and use the City's Construction Management Information System for project documentation.
