Description
Riverside County seeks a qualified contractor to plan, coordinate, produce, and execute the 2027 Presidents Day Parade in and around Indio, California, in conjunction with the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival. The scope includes participant recruitment and entry management; parade lineup, staging, route, formation, and disbanding plans; pre-parade judging; judging-stage and public-address equipment; announcers and scripts; a Senior Viewing Pavilion; VIP and entry check-in; approximately 14 parade-day personnel plus judges and announcers; volunteer coordination; permits and licenses; awards, trophies, plaques, and VIP vehicle signs; participant communications; and post-event closeout. The contractor must provide the personnel, equipment, canopies, chairs, tables, generators, public-address systems, entry packets, maps, entry numbers, and other operational resources identified in the scope. The parade is scheduled for February 15, 2027. The proposed contract is for one year with up to four consecutive one-year renewal options. Required submission materials include completed applicable exhibits, proof of insurance, Secretary of State registration status, and a current business license or an exemption statement; preference affidavits and supporting documentation may be submitted when applicable.
